Matthew Goodman
Managing Director

Mr. Goodman is Managing Director of Stonebridge, advising clients on Asia matters, with a particular focus on Japan and Korea. Mr. Goodman is an expert on Asian financial services and trade-related issues, stemming from his service as Director for Asian Economic Affairs at the White House and prior work at the U.S. Treasury Department, including as Treasury Attache in Tokyo. He also headed the government affairs operations of Goldman Sachs in Tokyo and London. Mr. Goodman began his professional career as a financial journalist in Tokyo.
