Deborah Lehr
Senior Vice President
Deborah Lehr is President of Stonebridge China, and leads the firm’s
China practice, including overseeing the offices in Beijing and Shanghai.
An economist by training, Lehr has built a successful consulting business
over the past decade representing Western and Chinese companies seeking
to expand their operations. Prior to joining Stonebridge, Lehr was a partner
at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw, a global top-10 law firm, where she helped
build a leading trade business. Previously, she was a lead negotiator
for China's WTO Accession, one of the youngest Directors of Asian Affairs
in history at the National Security Council, and involved in export control
and trade policy issues at the Department of Commerce.
