Team Joel Velasco Mr. Velasco is Senior Advisor to Stonebridge and Chief Representative for North America for UNICA (Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association). He has broad experience advising clients on Latin America strategies, and previously served as Special Assistant to the U.S. Ambassador to Brazil. A dual-national of Brazil and the United States, he has worked a broad spectrum of issues ranging from trade to regional security. Mr. Velasco also worked at Simon Strategies, a high-technology strategic consulting firm and served as a personal aide for Vice President Gore at the White House.
