Diane McMahon
Vice President

Diane oversees the firm’s commercial client work relating to India. Her particular focus has been addressing clients' regulatory trade matters, such as those relating to taxation/tariffs and intellectual property. Before joining Stonebridge, Ms. McMahon was Chief of Staff of the U.S.-India Business Council from 1998-2001 where she oversaw the Council’s working groups on trade and investment, pharmaceuticals/intellectual property rights and India/Pakistan sanctions reform. She was the lead lobbyist for the Council and worked closely with key members of the Congressional Caucus on India and Indian Americans and the Indian American community. Ms. McMahon also was Director, Corporate Programs at CFR; Director, International Trade Policy, Mayer Brown; New Zealand Trade Development Board; Office of Rep. Hamilton Fish (R-NY). Ms. McMahon holds a M.A. in International Relations from American University, a B.A. in Political Science and Japanese language from Manhattanville College in Westchester County, New York and a Liberal Arts Certificate from Oxford University.
