PRESS RELEASE STONEBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES EXPANDED INDIA PRACTICE WASHINGTON, DC, March 20, 2006 — Stonebridge International, a leading international business advisory firm, has substantially expanded its India practice, adding four senior-level advisers in Washington and New Delhi. The move enhances Stonebridge’s global reach. Stonebridge CEO Anthony Harrington stated, "This top-notch team will help our clients tap into India's remarkable economic transformation.” Stonebridge will use the India platform to advise and assist Indian and multinational businesses across multiple sectors. Former U.S. Ambassador to India Richard Celeste has decades of experience in India and will continue to play a lead role in providing strategic advice to the firm’s clients as Senior Director. Ambassador Celeste also served two terms as Governor of Ohio and was Director of the Peace Corps. He is currently President of Colorado College. Further, Stonebridge is pleased to announce four new additions to its India team, including Pradman Kaul, Chairman and CEO of Hughes Network Systems; Diane McMahon, previously with the Council on Foreign Relations and Director of the U.S.-India Business Council; Srini Srinivasan, former Chairman of A.T. Kearney India, based in New Delhi; and Raymond Vickery, former Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Trade Development. Pradman Kaul, Chairman and CEO of Hughes Network Systems (HNS), joins Stonebridge as Senior Director. HNS is the world’s leading supplier of broadband satellite services and network solutions with customers in 100 countries. Kaul is a leading expert in the telecommunications industry and was recently inducted into the National Academy of Engineering. Kaul has established several successful companies in India and is Chairman of the Maryland-India Business Round-Table. Diane McMahon, most recently at the Council on Foreign Relations, joins Stonebridge as Vice President. Previously, McMahon served as Director at the U.S.-India Business Council, and Director of International Trade Policy at the law firm Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw. McMahon coordinated the July 2005 meeting between Members of Congress and Prime Minister Singh hosted by the CFR and the Congressional Caucus on India and Indian Americans Srini Srinivasan, former Chairman of A.T. Kearney (India) Ltd., joins Stonebridge as Senior Director based in New Delhi. Srinivasan has extensive strategic and operational experience and has planned and executed several new ventures in India covering a range of industries. He is recognized as a leading expert in IT, software development, R&D initiatives and comprehensive organizational transformation. Raymond Vickery, former Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Trade Development, joins Stonebridge as Senior Vice President. Vickery is widely known for his work on U.S.-India economic policies. He served as Chairman of the U.S.-India Business Council Working Group on Chemicals and Petrochemicals and has many years of experience advising multinational clients on India. While at Commerce, Vickery launched the U.S.-India Commercial Alliance. These additions enhance Stonebridge’s strong expertise and knowledge of India’s political and business landscape. Stonebridge Chairman Samuel Berger, former U.S. National Security Adviser, continues to actively promote U.S.-India business cooperation and is a member of the Aspen Strategy Institute’s U.S.-India Strategic Dialogue. Mr. Berger is also Chairman of DB Zwirn Global Investments, an affiliate of an international alternative investment fund and merchant capital provider with more than $4 billion in capital under management and 15 offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Stonebridge Vice Chairman H.P. Goldfield was involved actively in U.S.-India commercial relations while serving as Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Trade Development and at the White House in the Reagan Administration. Vice President Matthew Goodman, was responsible for India issues during his service as Director for Asian Economic Affairs at the National Security Council under President Bush.
